Once you have kids, and kind of like to stay home.... you are okay with putting the kids down at 8 or 9 and watching a movie to ring in the new year.

After Christmas Sales


Happy Day after Christmas!!!!!! The weather outside is definitely not frightful here in Dallas. We had record breaking heat. Ugh, which doesn't always put me in the mood for looking for warm clothes. Hair Goals!!!!

So it is no secret that in today's world, we all have things that help glam us up.
I am sharing a new love for glaming me up!  
In the last year I have been loosing bits of hair. I have hypothyroidism, ( a side affect is actually hair loss) I don't have giant clumps coming out, just gradually I have noticed more falling out than I used to. Please don't freak out! I really felt like my hair just looks so thin.

How To Wear Metallics This Holiday Season

I found this skirt at Francesca's and totally fell in love with it. I am a sucker for gold which I am sure you already know.
I was a little nervous about wearing the pleating, it can be hard to wear pleats on the bottom (it can show all your curves, and sometimes be unflattering) Wearing proper undergarments is crucial.
I wanted to make sure that this skirt hit in the right place! I pulled it up to the middle of my waist and let it fall, I liked it!
I paired this with a lace overlay that I bought at Forever21, and this faux leather jacket is actually from forever, like 8 years old.
I will totally belt this and wear with a graphic tee, and maybe sneakers too for a fun edgy look.

The Midi Dress Every Mom Needs!

I am so excited for today's post. 
I have been so overcome with so many different emotions lately. I have wondered if I should keep the blog going, if people read it, how to make this into something more than what it has been. Well the past month, since joining an amazing group of fellow bloggers at Style Collective. I have found so much more inspiration, excitement, friendship, and even more growth.
