Seville and Cordoba

So, yesterday and today we have been going non stop. In Seville we visited a palace, mosque, and cathedral.
It is really incredible to see the history of these buildings and see the influence from the Arabs. I myself have never been a real history buff (just ask my husband). I literally want to go home and read and watch documentaries on so many things. I can't believe I am even saying this.
It was incredibly hot in Seville, felt like home at 102. We walked everywhere through the city. Tired from the day, we headed to our hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, they were having a Spanish Zumba pool party at the pool. It was truly something to watch.
We were able to see the huge coliseum from the World's Fair in 1992. The buildings were constructed in 1929. Stars Wars had a scene that was filmed here.

We visited the Alcazar. This palace was built by the Moors in the 10th century. It was very beautiful. Side note, part of The Kingdom of Heaven was filmed in the Alcazar.
The Seville Cathedral Giralda Bell Tower were incredible. This cathedral is the 3rd largest cathedral in the world.

Cardoban....... this might be my favorite since leaving southern Spain. The city is beautiful and filled with flowers everywhere. It is incredibly lush! We did some shopping there today too! I may have had a dress malfunction ( my black dress started to bleed dye onto my bag) so I naturally had to buy another dress. I changed in bathroom at LA pandaneria.

Seeing the mosque -cathedral LA Cathedral DE Cordoba was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. The architecture and history was beyond amazing.
I can't get over how amazing Spain is! The people are warm and friendly. Cafe con Leche is a must. Along with any pastierie you can find.

Ps....I have changed clothes twice in the past 2 days. It was way hotter than I thought it would be. And then of course the dress mishap.
Until tomorrow. ....Madrid
Xoxo
