Girl Look at that Body

I am so excited to share some tips with you all from my Styling Event today! I loved partnering with a sweet friend and her shop! @SMDboutique.com Stacey has some really cute things, stop by her shop and mention that I sent you!

Body Types,  it is hard to put each of us into a category based on our body. If you are like me and have had babies, you are like where is the "I had 2 babies body" ? There are so many variations, it is important to be flexible and understand your body can change.
These are basic body types that most of us fall into.

Some tips...
1. Leggings aren't pants, if they were pants they would be called pants.
2. Yoga pants are also not pants, lets make sure our rears are covered if we wear these out of the house!
3. If you are a pear shaped body type, remember to never wear printed pants. You want to take the attention to the top half of your body.
4. If you are an apple shape body, skinny jeans and a loose fitted top are your friends. Make sure you show off those amazing legs of yours.
5. Hourglass, you have the most coveted figure. Show off that waist. Wear things that glide over your curves, while keeping them covered enough at the same time.
6. If you are more of an athletic build falling between a pear, or lean column wear things that don't overwhelm your body. If you have great arms, show them off.
7. Buying the fit, not the size. I hate that we as women get stuck into thinking we have to fit into a certain size. Buy clothes that fit you properly, not for the size on the tag.
I have found that Nordstrom, H&M run pretty true to size.
I would love to take any questions that you may have on how to shop, style or what to wear with your body type. Leave a comment here or email me at kristineashleystyle@gmail.com I would love to be able to answer your questions!

Shopping on a budget at H&M

Okay, so if you follow me on Instagram you know my love affair with H&M.
They are unmatched in price and quality. I had a $50 gift card, so I wanted to push it to the limit and see what that would buy me.

When styling a client or shopping for them, I seem to go into an alternate universe and the world around me disappears! I walked in and found all these things in less than 5 minutes!

I have been searching for a tote like this for months, this one I scored on sale for $14!
One great thing about H&M bags,  they are totally durable and withstand load of stuff. Wait for their bags to go on sale, totally worth it!

Sunglasses case, listen I break, damage, loose my sunnies. This case was an Hermes orange and I couldn't pass it up!

These earrings are having a total moment! The tassel with giant gems! I would pair these back to a basic tee and jeans, or glam them up with a LBD!

I really love the easiness of these tops from H&M, they fit pretty true to size. I am wearing a medium in this top. I styled it 2 ways actually on Sunday! A black blazer, a short ecru jacket.

So many of you have asked about my monogram necklace, it is from personalizedfrommetoyou! Stay tuned for a giveaway coming up with her!

I got all these for $50 at H&M!!!!! Happy Shopping friends!

XOXO

Makeup Review

So I have recently become kind of obsessed with watching make-up tutorials on youtube.
I am actually pretty frugal when it comes to make-up only because I haven't ever really worn any. It's not because I don't need it, I just never really put that much effort into it. Well, welcome to the new me! I watched this girl do a review on some products and wanted to try the cheaper version of them in case I didn't like them.
I shopped everything from Target, I am actually surprised on how easy everything was to find.
To be honest I am still trying to figure out the whole contour thing without making my face look like I am performing in the Lion King at Fair Park. I snagged these products from Elf Cosmetics. I really like the smokey eye pencil, I love the way it goes on! Totally worth the money.
The Contour Elf brush I am still deciding if I like, if not I think it was $6. I do like the Maybelline contour kit, it is easy to put on and has instructions on the back!
If you follow me on snapchat, I did a couple of shots to show you how it looked!
If you want to know more please let me know, would love to know what products you love and can't live without.
All in all, I would say these products have surpassed their value. I am surprised how the eye liner holds it shape. The contour powder doesn't make my face feel caky, or claustrophobic.
My leopard clutch is from Viva La Jewels and my tassel key chain is from Target!
