Favorite Accessories

It is finally time for me to talk about my favorite things.... accessories!

Some of you may say... I am not really a jewelry person. I will pray for you! ( just kidding) well maybe. You don't have to layer your self in jewels to glam up your look. A little arm candy, a statement piece, a scarf, hat will do the trick. I love to wear a graphic tee and dress it up with layering and adding jewels. I actually keep some jewelry in my purse for back-ups! I know it is crazy. Always be prepared! 

If you haven't gotten yourself a blanket scarf this season, I would ask you if you have been living under a rock? These are all the rage, and I seriously can't get enough of them. They can be worn so many different ways. I love to wrap it like a poncho, wear it as blanket, tie it up around my neck.

This outfit if one of my favorites, it is really simple and my accessories just amp it up. The leopard vest is from Forever, I am also a huge fan of all things from Forever21 and Shein, both of them have great prices on clothes and jewels. I really want you to know that you don't have to spend a fortune to look cute. Accessories are the frosting on a cupcake, without it the cupcake looks incomplete. Adding a couple things can totally transform your look! Embrace the accessory!

What I am Wearing

I thought I would share some pics of my fav looks from October. I am clearly obsessed with the army green vest, scarves and layering outerwear.
When I go to my closet I want things that are comfy yet fashionable. I have 2 little ones, so it isn't possible for me to wear high heels and white pants everyday.
A couple tips for layering and mixing prints.... make sure that you aren't over mixing. Wearing 2 prints is a safe place to stay. Plaid and Leopard is great! Sequins, plaid, leopard... might be too much. Making sure that when you wear your vest you wear something fitted on the bottom, vest can take away from your figure and make you look bulky. Outerwear has the ability to make you look bigger, fit is key. Shop for fit, not a number! A scarf or necklace can instantly glam up your look. For a momma on the go I say always have a scarf handy!
I am ready for the cold to be here, bring on the jackets!
